He can sway individuals to his side with much less. When it comes to dealing with press, he doesn't know what to say aside from unhelpfully telling them to deal with it. Maybe it's because he's not very good at dealing with insincere people. There's a reason he avoids most politicians like the plague.

"It can wait until after breakfast..." Steve pauses a moment before gently pushing his luck, "And a nap...?" He misses just laying in bed with Sam. It probably doesn't make any sense to drink all this coffee and then sleep, but it doesn't have any physical effect on Steve. He really just needs some time with them and nothing else.
