"Hm? Nuh-uh," Pepper denies a little belatedly, though he keeps his eyes closed. Inhaling deeply as if in a prelude to a yawn, he strokes his hand from her shoulder down along her side to snag around her waist, patting her flank soothingly. "I wouldn't do that to you, princess."
