Tony is stuck between waking and sleep, his brow creased and twitching in distress. As with most of his nightmare episodes, he is aware on some level that it isn't real, but it's never enough to break through to reality without outside help. It makes it that much more frustrating, like being caught in a giant web and aware of each agonizing moment. He turns away from her suddenly and makes a soft whimpering sound, aware too on some level that he probably just woke her up and feeling terrible about it.
