After everything, they're good. At least, Tony thinks so. They're still not "out" in any official capacity, though people know. Nat and Rhodey and Happy know. SHIELD knows. He's reading that classified file he knows Pepper has seen stamped AVENGERS INITIATIVE. He hasn't bothered to hide it from him, but they haven't spoken about it either. He knows the other man wouldn't approve of him joining on after what Nick did to him. But he can't help but be intrigued, and not least of all because he finally gets to meet the Hulk.

The video he'd recovered from that little horror show is playing on repeat in the background; he's distracted and easy to sneak up on. Though he shares everything with Pepper, he's kept this secreted away still despite all his allusions to it. Something about it still doesn't feel like his to share.
