"Thanks," Pepper murmurs with a tiny, shy smile as she takes the offered bottle, a light quiver lancing through her belly when he leans close. Drinking deeply, she wipes her mouth with her free hand before pushing some hair behind her ear and rubbing her forehead idly with the back of her hand.
"I think I have a slight hangover," she confesses in a soft, quiet voice, breathing a faintest laugh. She didn't even drink a lot, maybe three glasses of the wine? And some vodka. How sad.
