His leg hooks behind one knee successfully, pulling her off balance and literally sweeping her off her feet with a small yelp of surprise. She lands awkwardly, managing to twist so that she falls mostly next to him and not on top, one hip and buttock taking the brunt of the impact. Breathing hard, she tries to tugs her hand out of his grip, the side of her knee locking down one of his thighs as she struggles to recover from being downed and spring back into action.
If she thought this wasn't graceful before, it definitely isn't it now.
