Pepper gasps as air escapes her lungs on impact with the mat and Tony's added weight on top, not having succeeded in twisting them into a more sideways topple like she'd tried; but then, she'd known the chance had been remote. Sucking in greedy gulps of air, she takes stock of the situation, the exercise suddenly not the only reason why she's out of breath; his eyes are truly gorgeous and she feels like she's sinking under, staring into them. Her similarly widened gaze dips down to his mouth before she can stop herself, their faces so close they're practically sharing breaths. A new awareness tingles along her skin, and it serves to snap her out of her little spell.
Clearing her throat delicately, she proposes perhaps a little too softly, "I think maybe that one was a tie."
