"I don't have a lot of it left," he admits, shrugging one shoulder. Working with women who could and would kick your ass tended to do that. Not to mention he's pretty sure she won't do anything of the sort anyway. "You didn't mean... tonight? Or did you." He's so bad at reading signals as it is, but with Pepper he's always a few paces behind and then some. There was nothing actually wrong with her offer. Maybe that would help them get over some awkwardness??
