I sit and pray they never feel my strife,
Natasha shows up with a bouquet of different colored roses and a bottle of red wine. According to Laura, a glass of wine is actually good for you while pregnant and posts no harm to the child. Not that Natasha would know, she's from a country where all people drink copious amounts of vodka at all times in order to stay sane. Or what passes for it in Siberia. Either way, she didn't know what the hell to get Pepper so wine seemed like a safe bet. It's a Malbec from Argentina, 2011. Which was a good year for these things if you didn't know.
When she sees Pepper, she'll greet her with a kiss on the cheek and a smile as she goes to set the items down, getting a proper look at the other woman. She's getting huge, and while it can't be comfy to walk around like that the image is all too cute in her mind. As someone who's watched her best friend go through it three times now.
"Long time no see," she forges introductorily by way of apology. She hadn't seen Pepper since the cute baby party Tony had thrown. What a serious softy. "You look... bored."
